“A local single mother of three was the recipient of a free furnace, made possible by the Warm the Heart campaign and Tri-City Services, Wisconsin Rapids.
In September, local residents were asked to nominate local families who have a furnace that is in need of extensive repair or replacement, and help paying for it.
The Warm the Hearts Recipient Committee selected a recipient in November and the furnace was installed, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Dec. 12 to commemorate the project.”
